PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS: 

Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE unless a puppy is lost through no fault of the new owner while still in the care of the breeder.   In this instance, the owner will have the option of choosing a replacement puppy (one not already optioned by another buyer) from the same litter or a full refund of the deposit may be requested.    The owner may take the option of choosing from a future litter; however, the total purchase price may vary from litter to litter and breeder will not guarantee the same price on any future litter.  Should the Buyer decide not to purchase the pup, or fail to pay it out by the agreed time, the deposit will be forfeited.   No puppy will leave our kennels until the full purchase price is paid.

If the owner decides at a later date they no longer want or can continue to take care of the puppy, the breeder requests the right of first refusal in purchasing the puppy back from owner.  The breeder and owner agree to be fair and reasonable in the purchase price, but the final decision on whether to purchase the puppy back or not lies with the breeder at their discretion.

The breeder guarantees the dog to be current on all vaccinations and worming at the time the puppy is taken home by the owner as applicable to the age of the puppy.  We like to send our puppies home with their owner between 6 – 8 weeks, but will be happy to accommodate the owner for a longer period of time if needed.  Extended time may require boarding fees but will be discussed on a case by case basis.

The breeder requires the puppy be taken to the owner’s veterinarian within five (5) days after the puppy arrives home.  If there is a life threatening health issue within this time that can clearly be traced back to the breeder then the same options from paragraph one regarding replacement and refund will apply.  The breeder reserves the right to request a second, impartial diagnosis from a veterinarian of their choice.  Both diagnosis’ must be in writing.  The breeder will not be held responsible for health defects due to Buyer's negligence regarding vaccinations, worming, or overall care after this five (5) day period.

The breeder WILL NOT be held responsible for medical bills under any circumstances, but will be agreeable to discussing options on a case-by-case basis.

The puppy will be initially registered under Brush Country Kennels and a temporary name designated by the breeder.  The owner understands the puppy will be permanently registered under Brush Country Kennels, or BCK, in addition to whatever personal name the owner chooses.  Initial registration papers will be provided at the time the puppy goes home or will be mailed to the owner as soon as they become available to the breeder.

The owner agrees the puppy will not be used for any inhumane or illegal purposes such as fighting or “rolling”.  The breeder DOES NOT condone such actions and WILL NOT knowingly allow a puppy to be purchased under such conditions.  The breeder also reserves the right to take back possession of the puppy without compensation to the owner if found under these conditions.

Our payment options include the following:  money order or cashier’s check made out to Brush Country Kennels, credit card or bank account transfer through PayPal, or a personal check made out to Brush Country Kennels with the understanding the puppy will not be shipped until the check has cleared.

Shipping charges may or may not apply in addition to the purchase price, but any PayPal fees are the responsibility of the owner.  These fees are usually 3% of the purchase price and are collected by PayPal for the use of their services.  The PayPal link is located at the bottom of this page.

Here at Brush Country Kennels we ake great pride in our breeding and offspring.  We would greatly appreciate an occasional picture or update on how your puppy is doing.  Should you decide to show your puppy/dog, we would love to know how they did and would like to post any stories or pictures on our website with your permission.

We really enjoy hearing feedback from new owners and use this to better improve our service to you.  We feel all of our dogs are a part of the family and very much want to promote this with new owners and promote the breed as a whole for the wonderful companions they are.  Please also remember to call or email with any questions regarding health, training, or especially new litters on the way!  Once you have one American Pit Bull, chances are you will fall in love with them just like we did.
